In 2012, violence invaded a church in Ellicott City, Maryland. Two women were murdered by a homeless man the church was trying to help. The community had to come together to cope with the loss.

This crime may not have gotten much attention outside of Maryland, but it has a lot to teach us. About those who help the needy; mental illness; and forgiveness.
