Fired Cop Kills Children and Accomplice after Crime Spree

On November 14, 2021, former cop Robert Vicosa attacked his estranged wife and kidnapped his young children. That was far from the end of his tragic crime spree.

For days, residents of Maryland and Pennsylvania hoped for the best and feared for the worst. Details leaked out a little at a time. First, the violent kidnapping. Then, two carjackings. We learned that Vicosa wasn’t just a former Baltimore County cop; he had been fired from his job. Even stranger, we learned that he was helped by Tia Bynum, a Baltimore County police sergeant! As you might expect, she was later fired as well.

The Crime Spree
